Arts Passport Book Club

Arts Passport Book Club

In partnership with Tombolo Books

The Arts Passport Book Club offers members a chance to explore literature that connects with upcoming plays, art shows, or exhibitions. Each month, we select a book tied to the artistic themes of a partner organization, giving members the opportunity to engage more deeply with the work.

Those interested can attend the show or exhibition together (a group rate will be available, though tickets must be purchased separately), fostering meaningful conversations and a stronger connection to the arts community.

August Arts Passport Book Club: The Argonauts
📚 In partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Pete 🖼️

This August, we’re reading The Argonauts by Maggie Nelson — a genre-defying meditation on love, identity, and queer family-making. Raw, poetic, and fiercely intellectual, it’s a powerful invitation to reimagine the personal and the political.

Then, we’ll gather at the Museum of Fine Arts for a morning of thoughtful conversation and artistic exploration, including a special tour of their current exhibition In the Out / Out the In.

📅 Book Club Gathering: August 23, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Museum of Fine Arts
11:00 AM: Book discussion
12:00 PM: Docent-led tour of In the Out / Out the In

📖 Arts Passport Member Perk:

Join us for a conversation that blurs boundaries and a museum experience that invites new ways of seeing.
