When I went to YMCA camp in Plant City in 2005, we basically melted in the sun with no cover, overdosed on Sprite, and wore lizards as earrings.

Fortunately, summer camps have evolved.

In 2025, there’s something for every kid — whether they’re into painting, puppets, archaeology or stage makeup. Here’s your streamlined guide to this summer’s best camp options in St. Pete, Gulfport, Tampa, Sarasota and beyond:

Morean Arts Center Summer Camp
